Innovative hybrid technology for "easy paddling"
The scubi 1 ingeniously combines the advantages of inflatable and folding boats. The reduced frame in combination with air elements creates impressive rigidity. Unlike pure inflatable boats, the scubi sits "in the water" instead of just on it, thanks to its continuous keel tube and slim stern. This guarantees exceptional directional stability and a straight run that you would hardly expect from a compact length of 320 cm.
The scubi turned out to be a nimble runner with real handling characteristics, combining the sleekness of a folding boat with the low weight of an inflatable boat.— KANU Magazin
Ultra-light leisure fun on the go
With a phenomenal weight of only 9 kg, the scubi 1 is the ultimate "always-with-you boat." It can be easily transported in its compact carrying bag on the bus, train, or bicycle rack. The robust outer skin made of a PVC/PU mixture with standard keel strip ensures high abrasion resistance. Thanks to its high stability, beginners in particular feel safe right away, while professionals appreciate the model as an uncomplicated second boat for a quick after-work trip.
Despite its length of only 320 cm, the scubi 1 tracks well straight ahead and you move along swiftly (...) Once you have come to know and appreciate a scubi, the inevitable question arises of how you ever managed without it before.— Kajak Magazin
