Pakboats QUEST 150
Pakboats' masterstroke: Rigidity meets featherweight
The Quest 150 is the perfect choice for ambitious paddlers looking for a classic touring folding kayak that makes no compromises on performance. With an impressive length of 4.55 m and a weight of just 14.1 kg, Pakboats has succeeded in creating a design that is significantly stiffer than the Puffin series. Thanks to the clever system in which the gold-anodized aluminum frame is tensioned directly into the skin, the boat achieves outstanding stability and directional control, making it effortless to cover even long distances.
The Quest 150 from Pakboats impresses with its astonishingly small pack size and becomes a stable kayak when assembled. The aluminum frame and lateral air chambers offer strength and safety on the water.— Kanjak-Magazin
Maximum flexibility: From touring pro to sit-on-top
A special highlight of the Quest 150 is the high-quality PU skin material, which is not only extremely robust and weldable but also enables the boat’s low weight. The included, self-supporting canopy can be securely mounted to serve as a spray skirt. However, those who love freedom can also paddle the boat completely "topless": Since the comfortable seat structure is installed independently, it creates a true sit-on-top feeling. This versatile design makes it the ideal companion for day and weekend tours as well as for excursions in coastal waters.
The lightweight and tilt-stable, swift and tracking-reliable boat is suitable for beginners, but also brings joy to advanced paddlers.— KANU-Magazin
