scubi 2 XL: A travel boat as flexible as your needs!
By far the most versatile boat in the entire scubi family. Quick assembly, low weight, first-class driving characteristics, high mobility and as variable as you want it to be!
A kayak with established hybrid technology, that gets by with a minimum of black anodized aluminum tubing. The scubi 2 XL is equipped with four independently operating high-pressure air hoses that operate with an operating pressure of 0.25-0.3 bar. The outer skin of the scubi 2 XL is made of highly abrasion-resistant and UV-resistant PVC/PU material. The innovative and protected, internal "foam padded keel protection system" prevents damage to the skin - in addition to the keel strip welded on the outside as standard. The two comfortable hanging seats as well as their backrests and the thigh braces are already installed in the boat and do not need to be removed when setting up or dismantling.
The scubi 2 XL impressively combines the advantages of inflatable boats with those of folding boats and scores with a wonderful straight line running, which is achieved thanks to the keel structure and the associated draft. The kayak "drives in the water" and does not lie uncontrollably "on the water" as is the case with inflatable boats with a flat hull, for example. An invaluable advantage in terms of straight line running, speed and ease of use.
A wide range of accessories. The optionally available and variably usable middle seat offers a small child a seat, where it looks towards the rear passenger. A bigger child, who already wants to paddle himself, can take a seat in the direction of travel. In addition, an ideal center position can be taken in solo use. Thanks to the optional spray deck, which has two cockpits with fixed coamings, spray skirts can be stably attached and you are thus optimally protected against spray water. A special feature is the Drop-Stitch Insert, which can be used optionally. This creates a firm and stiff hull - however, the trendsetting keel shape is retained. When not inflated, it fits compactly folded in the packing bag.
Another highlight is the nortik kayak sail Sail system. It is feather-light (<1 kg) and ready to use in no time! A clever system that provides really good propulsion!
