With the scubi 1 XL, a hybrid kayak has been created that everyone, including tall paddlers, can fit into. It is set up in no time at all and is equipped with two high-pressure hoses that can operate with an operating pressure of 0.25 - 0.30 bar. A kayak with established hybrid technology that gets by with a minimum of black anodized aluminum tubing. The outer skin of the scubi 1 XL is made of highly abrasion-resistant and UV-resistant PVC/PU material. The innovative and protected, internal "foam padded keel protection system" prevents damage to the skin - in addition to the keel strip welded on the outside.
The scubi 1 XL offers a variety of applications. Designed as a recreational boat, it enables uncomplicated paddling fun on weekends, on vacation or simply in between thanks to its extremely easy and quick assembly. At the same time, it is an ideal (additional) boat for professional paddlers, which is used for short after-work rounds, relaxed weekend trips or, classically, on trips.The scubi 1 XL surprises with touring-level performance in a leisure kayak package.
Light and compact with excellent driving characteristics. The boat also has a pack size that is more reminiscent of a medium-sized backpack and not of a packing bag for a kayak. Weighing just 12 kg, it is also a sensational lightweight. Thanks to its pronounced keel structure, the scubi 1 XL offers impressive straight-line running on larger bodies of water and still remains agile enough to explore small, winding rivers.
In terms of equipment and accessories, there are also no wishes left unfulfilled. For example, the innovative Drop-Stitch Insert can be added if required. This inflatable accessory creates an incredibly rigid hull, significantly improving the scubi 1 XL's handling and feel. And for those who would like to set a sail, the nortik kayak sail is recommended, which, in favorable winds, reduces the "paddling work" enormously and maximizes the fun!
