Pakboats PAKCANOE 150
Expedition performance with intelligent safety
PakCanoes set new standards with their unique combination of materials and a fitting technology developed for extreme conditions. A standout feature is the integrated side air tubes, which not only ensure unsinkability but also protect the hull like a buffer against damage—because what gives way doesn’t wear down. The innovative system also ensures that the boat remains stable on its keel even if water enters, since the buoyancy is located on the sides rather than in the bottom. Thanks to color-coded markings and tool-free assembly, setup is quick and intuitive despite the complex technology.
PakCanoe 150: A folding canoe that you can transform into another using a conversion kit. And one that is robust enough for class III whitewater. Nowadays, PakCanoes are an indispensable part of the German folding boat market!— KANU-Magazin
The 2-in-1 principle: Maximum versatility
The PakCanoe 150 is a true all-rounder for two people (including gear) or as a solo variant. The highlight: With an optional conversion kit, the entire boat’s shape can be altered. Depending on your needs, you can switch from a flat, wide shape for maximum stability to a narrower, deeper design for challenging whitewater up to Class III. The height-adjustable bench seats also allow you to individually adjust the center of gravity, which provides beginners with a significant sense of security or optimizes trim during expeditions.
Product advantages at a glance:
-
Variable geometry: The conversion kit allows the boat’s shape to be adjusted from stable and wide to narrow and deep.
-
Excellent protection: Five factory-installed keel strips and integrated air cushions protect against abrasion.
-
Optimal trim adjustability: Straight-line stability or maneuverability can be easily controlled via weight distribution in the boat.
-
Maximum seating comfort: Height-adjustable woven seats allow for an ergonomic position and a low center of gravity.
-
Expedition-ready pack size: A full-fledged whitewater canoe (4.55 m) that fits into just one compact pack sack.
