With an enormous payload capacity of up to 415 kg, it effortlessly handles multi-week expeditions in the wilderness where heavy equipment and supplies for several people must be transported. Despite its size, it remains easy to transport thanks to the well-designed folding system and can be stowed in the included stuff sack in no time.

In addition to its use on professional expeditions, the 170 shines as the ideal family boat. Its enormous width of 96 cm ensures extremely high stability, which provides a sense of security, especially when paddling with children or dogs. If needed, additional seats can be installed, comfortably accommodating a family of three to four along with their luggage. The height-adjustable woven seats also allow the center of gravity to be lowered for maximum stability—an invaluable advantage for relaxed travel on lakes and rivers.
